Keep your hope up high

This image is for upcoming charity art event for Japan. I chose "Hope" as the theme among others.
Hope they accept my work! Recently, I use computer for coloring final images, and I enjoyed Gouache a lot. But I used a cold press papper for this one today and this paper didn't work well for gouache. I struggled a little bit. Maybe hot press works for me.

By the way, I went to see ophthalmology doctor yesterday, because I was sick last weekend and Monday. Why not a physician? Because it started with vomit ( sorry! ) and ended with ache from right eye. Am I ok? The Doctor said the right side of optic nerve that was damaged two years ago starts acting again. She recommended me to take 2 pills of Omega3 every day.
My dear friends who use a computer a lot, please take Omega3 before your eyes get damaged!

  1. Oh, I wish I could come to Graphite to see you and Keiko and all the beautiful work that's sure to be up in the gallery. Unfortunately, my funds are short. :( I hope it goes well tomorrow night!

    Keep poppin' those Omega3s!

  2. Beautiful work as always, Shigeko-san :)

But are you OK? Is your sickness came from stress? Take a rest as much as you can!

  3. This is not for graphite and is for the other charity, Art Love Japan at In Rivers gallery space at Green point. I didn't have time to make new one for graphite unfortunately... :-((

  4. Keiko, I don't know this image belongs to landscape or not... but I will try. I look forward to seeing your work, too! Your work is always beautiful and surprising.

I took enough rest the last weekend. I slept 24 hours on Sun. I may stress out, but I try not to!
Thank you, Keiko. I have only you!
